For the new Floral Street location, GANNI chose the Covent Garden location right in the heart of London’s buzzy West End. To celebrate the opening, GANNI has exclusively designed a t-shirt capsule featuring 5 floral tees in different colourways - only available at the Floral Street store.
The concept for the new store is similar to the sister store on Beak Street with a welcoming, homely vibe inspired by the family home of GANNI’s founders, husband-and-wife Ditte and Nicolaj Reffstrup. The interiors are carefully considered, with an eclectic mix of recycled glass tableware from Danish glass artist Nina Nørgaard plus unique vintage furniture pieces from one of Denmark’s most celebrated mid-century modernist designers, Børge Mogensen. Serving as a love letter to the brand’s hometown of Copenhagen, photographs of the Danish capital taken by Serbian photographer and friend of GANNI, Ana Kraš cover the walls. The Floral St store has been designed with a large focus on responsible elements; from unique display podiums crafted from recycled plastic waste from Smile Plastic to interior trays made from pressed old fabrics, upcycled Artek stools and beautiful rugs made from upcycled leftover GANNI fabrics from previous collections.
To celebrate Floral Street, GANNI have created a “Which Flower Are You” Instagram filter as a playful riff on the Floral Street location. It features different flowers like Iris’ and reveals each flower’s symbolic meaning.
GANNI will be offering both virtual and physical 1-2-1 complimentary personal shopping appointments. To book email email@example.com. The Floral Street GANNI Store team will be wearing non-medical grade face masks made by UK artist Courtney Mitchell from deadstock GANNI fabrics. GANNI have been implementing enhanced hygiene and safety measures for the new Floral Street store opening in line with government guidelines.
